What bullet was it? I used a monometal this year and had a very similar experience, double lung and the deer lived for hours. Complete pencil hole.

What an awesome hunt! That looked very cold. You got your moneys worth out of that truck on that trip. Reminds me of the time my dad and I got high centered in the snow, hunting late season elk in Arizona. And we didn’t have a shovel either!😂😂😂

Beautiful hunt!! My most enjoyable hunts are when the weather is just bitter cold and snow on the ground. Could do without the wind.

This video makes me cherish my own hunting memories with my father even more. It also encourages me to teach the importance of resiliency to my kids as nothing usually ever goes according to plan. However, by being resilient and enjoying all aspects of the hunt, I hope to share similar memories with my children.
